We have almost run out of landfills in Delhi. It is time, we do our bit.
A study shows, extending the life of clothing by a further 9 months would reduce carbon, waste and water footprints by around 20%-30% each.
The first step is the choice. Every time you buy a uniform, you have a choice to compromise on the quality for a cheaper price. Now it may seem that you have saved money on the deal, but you end up buying the inferior products twice or sometimes thrice in a year. On the other hand, If you choose to spend on a quality product that lasts you more than a year, you may reduce the amount of wastage you put in a landfill by 50%-70% by spending the same or an even lesser amount of money.
